How to reach the castle

... by car:

From B 42, direction Rüdesheim, exit Braubach and follow the signs for "Marksburg".

For your approach you'll find a spacious parking site (with an attendant in the summer saison) close to the castle.
To reach the entrance from here is no more than a walk of 5 minutes.

A very pretty hiking trail through the forest guides from the town centre of Braubach to the castle (ca. 20 minutes).

Marksburg - Express!

Between Easter and the 15th of October a funny shuttle service goes at regular intervals through the Old Town of Braubach up to the castle (seats available for 50 persons).
